Why do you love CrossFit ?
CrossFit is defined as ‘Constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity across broad time and modal domains’ but its much more than that…apart from testing an individuals fitness across the full spectrum of athletic abilities and being a competitive sport, CrossFit is a community of diverse individuals who come together to support each other to be and do better…theres no ego, no attitude, just lots of fun and support, and that to me is extremely valuable for anyone as it boosts confidence and provides a general sense of belonging…there aren’t many other sports out there that anyone off the street could walk into and feel that way.

Favourite WOD ?
I want to be typical and say ‘Fran’ but I love ‘DT’ and ‘Fight Gone Mad’.

Favourite Movement ?
This has to be the snatch…probably because it the most challenging for me at the moment.

Movement you love to hate ?
OK…you’re going to get me started on wall balls…WE DON’T NEED THEM!

Dan Bailey and Brook Ense…

Best person to do a partner WOD with at CFB and why ?
I’ve partnered up with different athletes here and have to say everyone is here to support and push you to do as best as you can, and put in the hard work themselves in the partner WODs and that’s all you really want from your partner to succeed.

Goals for 2016 ?
Improve my snatch, hand stand walks, muscle ups and general endurance.

Anything else ?
For all the reasons that makes a good CrossFit Box…CFB is undoubtedly one of the best Boxes in town.
